Crazy vertical scrolling shooter!!!

This game looks nuts. Its called "Mushihimesama Ultra Superplay". I'm guessing it stayed in Japan, and it looks like it is 2 player, but i think the other player didn't make it that far.

Super Mario Galaxy VS Super Mario Sunshine: Graphics Comparison

Here's a comparison of Both Mario games being run at 480p.



To tell you the truth I couldn't really tell that much difference in the graphics department, Sunshine looks as good as Galaxy. The only major difference in my opinion, between the two games isn't the graphics but the sound, the orchestral score in Galaxy is amazing and absolutely demolishes the midi music of Sunshine.

I've played a bit of Super Mario Galaxy and I gotta say it lived up to the hype. The game feels so comfortable to play using the Wiimote and there's a lot to do in the game, which should keep people playing for a long time.

PS3 ..is it a worthy console after its first year?

Weeeellll, NO.

Heres one reason why they aint doing so well, GOOD EXCLUSIVE TITLES:



Its funny because it's true, there aren't enough exclusive titles on the PS3, let alone good ones. the PS2 was successful becuase of its exclusive titles and 3rd party support. At the moment Sony have the third party support, helping them to sell the console.

they Need to bring out MGS 4 before christmas. This title is a sure fire hit, and will also help shift those PS3s.

I think we gotta give Sony another Year or so before they stop making the PS3 or they actually start doing well, only time will tell.

On another Note the Wii is doing great, metroid prime 3 corruption looks amazing and so does Super Mario Galaxy, both games are getting amazing reviews from everyone. I really want to get a Wii but i know if i do i'll fail University, i'm gonna wait till june/july time to get one, so next summer is gonna be a summer of gaming.

This is a trailer to will smiths new film. I think the last Will smith film i saw was Hitch, i can't remember if he has done other film since, I may have missed them.



It looks good, its based on a short story by Richard Matheson which goes by the same name. The short story has received a lot of good reviews from critics. I haven't read the short story but I plan to read it before the film comes out.

From what I've read on some forums Will Smith is apparently gonna ruin this film, I don't know how because I think he's a great actor. I think ALI showed he can act.

AMV

You might be asking "whats an AMV?". Well AMV stands for Anime Music Video, and well most of them are shit, Most of the time you get some Rock track and some random anime clips, mix them together and that becomes an AMV. well i think i've come across an AMV which is actually good, check it out.



I think the music goes really well with the clips which actually makes it watchable compared to other AMV's I've come across. The song is Apologize by one republic, its the original not the remix Timbaland did. The anime is Cowboy Bebop, which was a good anime, if you get the chance i'd recommend checking it out and the feature length movie which is called "Knocking on heavens door".

street fighter 4 teaser

The much anticipated sequel to street fighter 3rd strike is on the Horizon, and Capcom have decided to release a teaser trailer to wet our appetites. check it out.



It looks cool, but ultimately it doesn't show anything at all about the game other than that there might be more counter attacking involved and that Ryu is still better than Ken.

Mario Galaxy Japanese prologue

This is the Introduction to Mario Galaxy. We all know that the princess will get kidnapped by bowser, but the way it is done in Mario Galaxy is sick, um I know how that sounds but i don't mean it like that. I'm not saying kidnapping is a good thing or anything.



Mario Galaxy looks so good, it shows the Wii can generate some good looking games.Not too long ago Nintendo's Reggie said that this Mario title will be the true sucessor to Mario 64. Which makes Mario's gamecube outing sound like it was shit, and it seems like Nintendo are trying to forget about it, like it never happened. the game comes out during the christmas shopping period, i'm sure it'll fly off the shelves and help Nintendo overtake Microsoft in the console wars.

The last time i checked Nintendo were 350,499 units behind the xbox 360, there isn't much point mentioning the PS3 but i might as well, it is behind everyone by some 7,000,000 units. LOL.

How this person managed to do this is beyond me.

New TV channel

Earlier today I was informed by one of my anime obsessed mates that there is a TV channel that is dedicated to anime. And he wasn't lying, if you've got Sky, you can access the channel on channel 199 and its called anime central.

Thats the logo above (I think it looks shit). The channel shows Bleach, I think it will be dubbed which is a shame because i always prefer the subbed version with the original voices, but at least we have a channel that is dedicated to anime.

New Soul calibur 4 and MGS 4 trailer

Heres a new trailer that came out yesterday for Soul Calibur 4.



It seems like everything you'd expect from a new soul calibur game. The gameplay seems like the same, they didn't really need to change that anyway but the graphics seem fresher unlike tekken 6 which still looks like tekken 5.

Another trailer that came out yesterday was the new metal gear solid 4 trailer. Its sick, check it out.



Oh my God, olga had a kid before she died and the frogs (LOL) look sick. It also looks like you get to use a metal gear. I also like the way they reused the rookie scene from the first metal gear solid. This game is gonna be sick.

Ninja Gaiden on the DS

I've played Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox 360, and I thought that game was Hot, if you haven't played it, your missing out. The Game looks good, and the whole DS touch screen dynamic seems interesting. It looks like there is yet another reason to get a DS, I don't know why I haven't brought one, Its either money or something someone says that stops me from getting one.

I think the film looks Good, Robert Downey Jr. seems to fit the character well, he's a great actor, so I wouldn't expect any less. I don't think it'll be bigger than the Dark Knight, but I think it'll do well.

Uh oh they're gonna make another one...

I'm not too sure how i feel about the news of another Live action Street Fighter film. Apart of me thinks, that if the film is made properly, Another street fighter film will be GREAT, but then I'm reminded of the Van Damme debacle that came out all those years ago. Damn that film was SHIT, Everything about that film was wrong, from Kylie being Cammy to Ken doing a Hadouken (or a flash of light), it was absolute shit.

The film will centre round Chun Li. Why not centre the film around Ryu (mister Street fighter, himself), I have no clue. There's rumours circulating the net that Jessica Biel (Blade 3, Next, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Remake) will take on the role of Chun li. I guess she kinda looks Oriental, but why not use an oriental actress like Ziyi Zhang?

The Director will be Andrzej Bartkowiak, who is suppose to be an action Specialist. Andrzej has directed Doom and Romeo Must Die, so we'll have wait and see how this will pan out, Hopefully it'll be good.

On other News, its been announced that a He-man, Thundercats and a Dragonballz movie will start filming next year, all films hoping for a successful release in 2009. I think Hollywood has absolutely run out of ideas.

Alien Vs Predator Requiem trailer.

I didn't even know they were making a sequel to Alien Vs Predator, anyways here's the trailer.




I am surprised, I think it looks quite good. It looks a lot more bloody than the first one, and it is reminiscent of the first predator movie which, because of the whole forest scene they're using in the film.

The first one wasn't Bad but it wasn't all that great. Hopefully this will be better than the first and judging from the trailer it should be a whole lot better.

New MGS 4 trailer!!!

Yep, straight from the Leipzig game show, heres a new metal gear solid 4 trailer, check it out.



From what i can gather i think the 4 new enemies we've seen in this trailer, will be the bosses in the game. A couple of them seem similar to bosses from previous MGS games, there's one that reminded me of Pshyco Mantis from the MGS 1 and the Doctor Octupus looking Boss reminds me of solidus Snake from Mgs 2.

Super Mario Bros Z

So what do you get if ya mix Sonic, Mario and Dragonballz, you'll get "Super Mario Bros Z". Someone has used sprites from both Mario and Sonic games, and created this nifty Dragonballz inspired animation, check it out.

Sorry to those 2 people who check this blog, i haven't been able to post anything in a while because I've been busy helping out the family with a few things and I've been a bit lazy as well, but I'm back now to my normal self, so i will be updating on a more regular basis.

Oh here you go, check this video out for Nicole scherzinger first single which is called "whatever U like". The video Features T.I. and some other dude, and is off her first solo album which is called "Her name is Nicole".



I'm not really feeling this tune, i think i'll need to listen to it a few times before i like it, but anyways she looks hot in the video. She's got the crazy chick thing going on here and it kinda reminds me of that video Beyonce did for "Ring the alarm".

Oceans 13 quick review:

I saw Oceans 13 on Monday, but i haven't been able to write about it, because I've been busy looking for a job and doing the odd job around the house.

Anyway the film, I've read alot reviews saying that it is better or as good as Oceans Eleven (a film that i really like), and i have to disagree i don't think it is better. It looks to me that they just tried to copy and paste oceans Eleven and try to change it a bit so that it doesn't look to blatant.

we begin the film with one of the crew being swindled out of a deal by Al pacino, like all villains he has a weakness and the oceans crew, decide to get revenge by exposing his weaknesses. The other Crew members suggest killing him but this film is all about honor, which means they can't do that.

Each of the cast are given a nice chunk of screen time to show what they can, but most of the screen time is taken up by the George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon (for some reason everytime i see matt damon, i always think of that character out of Team America).

They're smug as ever. They all have parts to play in the heist but George clooneys character is the mastermind behind it all, and he plays the character really well.

I wouldn't say there is a stand out moment in the film, only that there is a scene which involves a mini revolution in mexico, which made me laugh, but the rest of the film is very slick and stylish due to the camera work and performances from the main actors.

I think this film has a bit too much style over the substance, but it is a good watch ...but not as good as Oceans Eleven.

I'm back ...

YAY, my car actually made it to sheffield and back to Rochester, what a relief. Anyway the trip to sheffield was as good as ever.

Me and 4 of my mates went to sheffield, so i had a packed car, i thought my car would struggle alot on the motorway, but to my surprise it actually drove well, although it would start shaking if i drove in excess of 100 mph, so i stuck to a speed of 80-90mph on the motorways. The journey there took around 4 hours, which probably would of been less if we didn't make a stop at a service station on the M1 and get stuck in pockets of traffic on the motorway.

Later that night we went to a club called Embrace, i think it was called Kingdom before, as people were calling it Kingdom but when we got there the sign said Embrace ...no sign of Kingdom. Anyway we got into the club at around 11 and around 12 the club was packed, and it was visible that there were a lot more girls than guys at the club which is always gonna good, and all the girls looked great.




















Embrace is a nightclub made up of 5 rooms 2 main halls and 3 smaller rooms, as you can ...kinda see in the picture above, what struck me that seemed different was that one room had anime pictures everywhere on the walls, i didn't recognise any of them except for this naruto picture i saw there.

I would suggest anyone who has been clubbing down south, to go clubbing up north, because it is alot more better, me and 4 of my mates got in to the club as a group, that would never happen in central london ...you'd be lucky to get into a club let alone with your mates in a central london club, and the drinks are cheaper and overall the people are friendlier so theres a lot less hostility.


We ended up getting thrown out of the club (LOL) ...not because we caused any trouble but because my mate drank a bit much and fell a sleep ...yes he fell a sleep in the club ...the idiot, the bouncers could of left him there but they had to chuck him out because they had nothing better to do. oh well, other than that it was a good night.

the next day we lumbered out of bed and strolled down sheffield town centre ...just to check it out as we had nothing else to do, the rest of the day we were goofing around while a couple of my mates were dealing with hangovers.

Later that night we went to a drum and bass bar, which was kinda irritating as the music gave me a headache, after an hour we went to a strip club (LOL), the strip club is how you would expect it and we left it at around 2.30.

the next day was just a lazy aftermath of the night before, and we left sheffield at 8.45 in the evening and got back at around midnight.

Going Sheffield again..

Yeh thats right, i'm going sheffield again. There isn't really a reason for going, i'm just bored at the moment (i really should work on my portfolio ...ah well), and my mate who is studying there invited me to go up, so i couldn't help, but say yes i'll come up.


















Hopefully my car will last the Journey there and back (fingers crossed). I'll let ya'all know what happened up there, hopefully it'll be like last time.

New Timbaland Music video

its Timbaland ft the Hives in a song called"throw it on me", which is off Timbalands Shock value album.


I think the Video looks cool, its a Sin City style video and its got some Wrestling chicks, whats not to like. I do like the song but i do think there are better tracks on the album, so i'm surprised to see this track have its own video.

Fresh off the success of Rocky Balboa, Slys back with another sequel, and it looks like quiet a dark and gory film.

I'm not too sure, whether this is the official trailer or if it is a fan made trailer. To me it doesn't look that great but i'm sure it'll be in the same league as Rocky Balboa was and Rocky wasn't bad at all.

a new 200mph car ....and its a VW GOLF!!!

Yep its true some nutters in Germany have gone and created a Volkswagen golf that can go as fast as a Lamborghini Gallardo as pictured here:

This is what the Super Golf looks like:

It Doesn't looks any better than the other two and it doesn't look that much different compared to the standard 3 door Golf. So it hasn't won me over on the looks department.

Where this Extreme Golf does win a few points in, is the engineering department, they have used the same engine that is used in the VW Phaeton, which is a expensive luxury saloon with a hugely wasted engine. The VW engineers have added an extra 200 BHP to the phaetons engine and stuffed it in this car, so it turns out a total of 641 BHP. This means the car can go from 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds (that's supercar speed) and reach a top speed of 202 mph.

As impressive as the figures are, VW have decided not to build this car for production, this is probably because they won't make any money from it, and you probably wouldn't be able to drive it on normal roads like all super cars.

SO my question is why make one in the first place?

Mortal Kombat vs Street fighter part 3

Part 3 to the Mortal kombat vs Street fighter series is out. This is the fight sequence which involves Akuma and a Mortal Kombat character called Chameleon, who i can't remember being in the Mortal Kombat series, but he's a mix of Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Check it out.

the series is being created by a guy who goes by the name "Proxicide". I think it looks excellent, but i think the sets used in the second one looked better, buts that me being picky, otherwise it is excellent.

Spiderman 3: The Review

Before i begin i'll just warn you that this is a long post and i took that laser grafiti video off, because i didn't know how to turn that autoplay off, and it annoyed me so i just deleted it.

Well i saw the new Spiderman movie and if i had to some up the movie in one word, that word would be "disappointing", In saying that the film wasn't Bad, it was thoroughly enjoyable (it might sound contradictory, but bare with me) there was great action sequence and some nice comedic moments, but there was nothing new.

If you want to see it, I would recommend watching it with as little expectation as possible. Let me explain, before I saw the film, I saw numerous trailers which implied that venom would be a huge part of this film, unfortunately he is overshadowed by a love story which drags way too much through out the film, which wouldn't be a bad thing but i think it is handled wrongly in this film.

The Action doesn't seem to better the action sequences in Spiderman 2, and thats saying something. Spiderman 2 came out 3 years ago, yet the effects and action sequences look similar. Sandman looks like something from the mummy (but wot more can you do with a monster made out of sand, so I'll let them off) and there are times were Mary-Jane and Harry (goblin dude) look so fake in CG and when Spiderman is taken over by symbiote, you don't see him use the new ability he gains, all you get is him saying, that he feels great and acting all angry and cocky, it would of been nice to see him abuse the powers he gets once he becomes the venom-spiderman, or show some comparison of how much better he becomes once he is in that venom-spiderman suit, I could only imagine what CG they could of used to show this.

As i said before the love story in the film is rinsed as much as possible in this film, there are moments where Peter Parker is trying to talk to Mary-Jane over the phone and she won't pick the phone up, she just stands there and listen to the voice message he leaves her, it seems like something out of Eastenders. Another scene involves Harry and Mary-Jane cooking in the kitchen, where they start dancing to some music, which i assume is from the 50's, this scene is suppose to show Harry and Mary-Jayne create a bond with each other, but we don't need to see this, as we know they use to date each other before, so they've got history and don't need to create a Bond.

There is this one scene which made me laugh so badly it was so wrong. Peter has been taken over by the symbiote and gets Eddy Brock fired, straight after he is dancing along a street, pointing at women who pass him by, he then gets a black suit (not the spidey suit) and starts dancing saturday night fever style, if that wasn't bad enough he continues his dancing (which gets worse) in a jazz club. These scenes did not have too be in the movie, and would of cut 30 minutes off the runtime.

Getting back to my main complaint about this film, is the fact that Venom is hardly in the film. there isn't much introduction to the symbiote, it just happens to be in a tiny meteorite, which happens to land near Peter Parker and Mary-Jayne whilst they're having a moment and no-one notices a meteorite landing on earth (which is being a bit pragmatic, i know, but you would notice something crashing to earth from space), and once it takes over Eddy Brock, he isn't even shown on the screen that much. I'm guessing the film makers wanted to show how the symbiote makes spiderman a more evil character, and not Eddy Brock, which is shame, because i expected to see more of a venomous-Eddy Brock and we don't get to see that in this film.

I've heard this is the final Spiderman film, and it shows. As it seems like they've crammed so much into this film, and it looks like the film makers want to end it as they don't leave any loose endings which could suggest a sequels in ways the 1st and 2nd films did. although there is a shot were you see a newspaper heading which clearly states "Doc Ock still at large", which could suggest the return of Doctor octopus in the 4th spidey film. here's a picture.

Overall the film was a disappointment for me, as i saw something that didn't meet my expectations, and i saw quiet a few flaws in the film, which seem fixable. A lot of reviewers are saying that there's too many villains in the film, but i disagree i think there just wasn't enough development on the main villain, which seems to be the Symbiote (venom), telling from the trailers.

I hope they make a 4th Spiderman film, because i think the franchise still has some movie life in it, they just need to learn to use the right amount of action, romance and comedy.

Score: 6/10

A classic.

This game at the time was amazing, watching this video brings back a lot of good memories.



Killer Instinct was the Other fighting game that everyone played that wasn't a street fighter or mortal kombat game.

There is word going round that it'll come out on the xbox live service in HD (as said in the video), as Rare is owned by Microsoft, it is quiet possible that it will happen, otherwise i won't be surprised if it comes out on Nintendos Virtual console, either way the game will become a top downloaded.

The film looks shit and wrong on so many levels, i mean kids getting shot, a plane crashing into a building. The game was controversial, i never played it but i always heard something on the web about it.

I swear hollywood must be running out of ideas, if a film like this is being made.

Haven't done a post in time

The reason i haven't posted in a while is that, in the UK, we are actually having nice weather ...its true, and because i don't know when a rainstorm is gonna ruin the weather i have been enjoying it as much as i can.

On another note, everyone knows that the Gamecube is dead, yep no games are gonna come out for it and so its gonna become another classic antique just like the snes but with less games. anyway i found this top ten which counts down the best 10 games on the gamecube (which is done by screwattack.com).


I never owned a gamecube but i've played most of the games here on the List, except for Ikaruga, Eternal Darkness and Animal Crossing which i think shouldn't be on the list because it looks crap, but i haven't played it so i'm guessing it gotta be good. I can't Argue with the number one, but i'm sure there must of been a game exclusively on the gamecube that was as good or better.

This looks like a proper Next Gen game and its only coming out for the PC. Everything about Crysis, the graphics the Physics and the sound look and sound amazing.

I think this will be a benchmark in which all first person shooters will have to follow in order to be successful in the future.

New Die Hard 4.0 trailer

It looks Sweet, there's crazy action a fit chick (Maggie Q) and a lot of explosion's. Die Hard 4.0 comes out around the same time Transformers comes out and I'm sure those 2 films will be battling it out it be THE summer blockbuster..

I think the guy who did this just might of gone a bit overboard, and truthfully i think it looks kinda stupid. The front doors open up like a lamborghini and look slick, its just the rest of the doors / bonets, have just been pimped a bit much.

I think its time to call Xzibit ... wot he's busy i guess Tim Westwood will do, actually NO, allow Westwood, he'll mess it up even more.

Transformers

New TV spots have emerged of The Transformers movie, they're only 30 seconds but still it looks good.

There isn't much but you do see them Transform, which looks great. I think this'll be the biggest film of the summer, i don't know why but Spiderman 3 doesn't seem like it'll be as good, probably because there have been 2 spiderman films already so we know what to expect.

I just hope they don't fail with the story, As it seems like they've nailed the effects perfectly.

Oceans 13

There's a new trailer for Oceans 13 up, and it looks like they're back in Vegas.



I liked Oceans Eleven it was smart and funny, Oceans Twelve... wasn't. This has Al Pacino (yes Scarface) as the Bad Guy, and the guys want revenge because Al swindled one of the crew out of a deal.

Not expecting much from this film, either way it will make millions.

GTA IV

The new trailer or should i say teaser is out, check it out.


It looks like Rockstar have taken a more serious approach to this game, with the music sounding like they took it off the matrix and the whole look of the game looking more real, but then again improvements in the graphics department is expected. Graphics weren't a big issue with the GTA games, but going on to next Gen console, thats all your hearing about games that are coming out.

I'm not too sure where the game is set, but there is a building which has a sign saying Liberteen, which may suggest that it is going to be set in Liberty City once again. There have been stories circulating that the game was going to be set it New york, and you do see the statue of Liberty in the teaser, so it may just be set in New York or a whole new city that looks exactly like the Big apple.

I am slightly bored with the trailer it looks OK, but i think everyone expected a trailer which would show gameplay, all we got was a teaser of a city.

Final Spiderman Trailer and Daywatch trailer

The final trailer to the new Spiderman film is up, check it out.



The only difference between this trailer and the other trailers / clips is that this trailer actually shows Venom, when he takes over Eddie Brock who is played by Topher Grace.

Also there's a trailer out for a Russian film called Daywatch which is the sequel to another Russian film called Nightwatch, check it out. Both films are apart of a trilogy.



The special effects in this film are amazing considering they wouldn't have had as much funding as a hollywood blockbuster would. I saw the Nightwatch, which is a really good film and ends on a apocalyptic cliffhanger, so this film should be good.

PS3 hits the UK!!!

Finally after a failed worldwide launch, the PS3 has crawled its way to the UK. The official launch of the PS3 was held at the flagship virgin megastore on Oxford street. Personally, I think you gotta be a bit crazy to walk around Oxford street at midnight with £450, it wouldn't surprise me if we hear stories of people being mugged and shot at for their ps3s or their money.

The big story that came out from this launch was that everyone who was registered to by a PS3 from the oxford street store, received a Sony Bravia 46" HDTV (DAMMMNNN), they also received a copy of resistance fall of man, and the usual Sony branded goodies.

I totally forgot about the launch of the PS3, and I was only reminded about it when i checked J's blog. The launch hasn't really hit me the way the Xbox 360 or the Wii launch did, i think this is because the PS3 has been surrounded by bad vibes from people who already have brought it, whilst the people who brought the Xbox 360 and The Wii only had Good things to say about it. Also there's no good launch titles out for the PS3, that would grab your attention.

Sony have started poorly against Microsoft and Nintendo, but once their big titles come out I'm sure it'll do well. I'm not planning on buying it until another year or so, only then i think the PS3 will shine.

Jet Li the New Mummy!!!

Theres gonna be another Sequel to the mummy film, and Jet li is going to star as the imfamous Mummy. There isn't much out about this film other than

"Jet Li will be playing an emperor of ancient China, who is presumably woken from his curse sometime shortly after World War II"

The director of the film will be Rob cohen, he has directed Stealth, The fast and the furious, XXX and Dragon:The Bruce lee story.

Jet Li is going to join the Mummy 3 project after he has finished his current project, which see's him team up with Jackie Chan, the film which hasn't got a title yet is going to be out later this year.

Its Weird, i thought Jet Li had retired after making fearless, well i guess working with Jackie Chan is worth coming out of retirement.

PS3 price cut

We knew it would happen, it was just a matter of time. Alot of people (including me) have been put off by the price tag of the PS3. The PS3 is an impressive bit of kit but it isn't worth the £425 ($600), mainly because Blu-ray hasn't taken off as expected and the fact the PS3 hasn't got any killer apps, that would demand the PS3 to be brought, this is down to a lot of the games that were exclusive to the PS2 have had their sequels brought by Microsoft, so those titles aren't exclusive anymore, titles like Devil may Cry 4, GTA, pro evolution soccer, metal gear solid 4 etc.

Analysts have predicted that the PS3 will have a worldwide $100 price cut by October. The New kind of surprised me, because the other consoles have been out of longer and there has been no annoucement from Microsoft or Nintendo that they will do the same, if this does happen it will show Sonys desperation to get back into the market.

Gears of war movie coming to screens

Yep, its true the movie rights to gears of war have been snapped up by New Line cinema. The movie adaptation is being penned by Stuart Beattie, he's the guy who wrote "Collateral" (the Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx film).

I'm not too sure how Gears of war will fair on the big screen, as i haven't played the game properly so i don't know anything about the story of the game.

The film is still in the early stages, so it won't be out until sometime in 2009.

There is no surprise that Johnny depps character is back. I didn't think the second one was as good as the first, and this one seems alot bigger in scale (Chow yun fat is gonna kick some ass, LOL), this might be a good thing but could also turn out to be a bad thing, i'll just wait until may 25 and make a judgement then.

300 the movie

This film recently came out in America, and on its first weekend it racked up $70 million, which set a new record for March box office sales. But saying that there wasn't any other good films out, so it isn't much of a surprise that it did well at the box office.



300 hits the UK on the 23rd march, i'm definately gonna see this, it looks epic.

On another note The main character of the God of War series is a spartan, not that this has anything to do with the film, but if popular games to film conversions are concerned i think God of War would make a great film. With 300 doing so well i think a God of War film may be on the way...

Cris angel WTF!!!

I just happened see an episode of Criss Angel on ITV2 the other day, and i gotta say he is quite a magician. Here is one of his trick i found on youtube.

I guessing he's been about for a while as this clip was uploaded in june 2006, but his tricks are freaky, but blatently the crowds are in on the act as well.

Valencia Vs Inter Milan Mass Brawl.

You might of heard about this fight, that broke out once the game had finished on Tuesday night. Well if you didn't see it here it is.


Not Exactly sure why the fight broke out, but i heard this was boiling over from a match that happened between the 2 clubs, 3 years ago. In the match Inter Milan beat Valencia 5-1, and ever since then Valencia have been talking about revenge.

It seems like they got their revenge, not only did Valencia knock Inter Milan out of the Champions league, it seems like a few Inter players got knocked out, literally.

PS3s answer to Xbox Live and the Wiis virtual console

Its called "HOME", which was unveiled at GDC (games developer conference) this year, check it out.


I think it is a bit much, to tell you the truth, it seems like they want people to live in this virtual reality world and forget about their lives.

There is only a couple of multiplayer features pointed out, so it seems like the gaming part of it, is just an after thought, and seems more like building a community like "myspace".

But i gotta say it does look impressive.

Crazy drifting

You've heard of tokyo drift now get ready for Arabian drift (yeh i no, its lame ...but it had to be done).

From the far east to the middle east, drifting looks like it is taking over. I would start drifting but the last time that happened I crashed into another car and got my car written off, LOL .

A cool 3D animation

I was sent this 3d animation and i think it is excellent.


It was used created in 8 months by Justin Henton , and is really impressive for a student film.

Ghost Rider

Well last night i went and saw Ghost Rider... and i thought it was Rubbish.

As you can tell by this poster the film was delayed, it was suppose to be out last summer, they probably delayed it to add more action sequences or something ... Yeh can someone point out to me what they added.

let me some up the film in a few points:

• The plot is predicable but is forgiveable.
• The Fights with the baddies are so crap, they could of at least thrown a punch or something, they just talk and die.
• the action is poor, the CG could of been better, although they got the look of ghost rider perfectly.
• Eva Mendes looks Hot.

So other than Eva mendes there isn't much to the film, i wouldn't recommend this film, because there isn't anything entertaining about this film and i can't see why they delayed it.

Dark sector

This game looks like a proper next gen title.



It uses the same perspective as Resident Evil 4. This probably shows how Resident evil 5 will look like.

Europe to get shitty PS3s!!!

Yep its true. The european launch of the Playstation 3 was delayed as we all know, well Sony could of done the decent thing and fixed any bugs the original ps3 had and they could have probably added extra features for us patient european gamers, but thats just wishful thinking.

Sony have just annouced that the european ps3 will be shipped with different hardware, that will only support a limited range of PS2 titles.

Not only have we had to wait longer for the PS3, we are now gonna receive an inferior machine to what the US gamers have. I think they did this because they weren't able to resolve that problem with the US PS3s, which made Ps2 games look shittier on a PS3. They just seem to cut across that problem and hope this is good enough , well it isn't.

In my opinion it isn't that big of a set back, because your gonna buy the PS3 for the PS3 games and all that Blu-ray crap, but in saying that your gonna expect some great launch title ....well resistance fall of man ....nah that aint good enough.
Sony need to think what would benefit the consumer more than benefitting them, because thats all they've done, they're just watching their backs. Hopefully the PS3 flops even harder, and sony learn from their mistakes.

I hate the police!!!

I swear the police have got nothing better to do than piss off motorist. Today Motorist have been told if they get caught talking on a mobile whilst driving they'll be charged £60, it use to be a £30 fine and also you'll get 3 points on ya licence.

The increase in the fine, is just another way for the police to steal more money from the public. OK, i agree driving whilst talking on the phone can be dangerous, if in the hands of a moron but most people i know are capable of driving properly whilst talking on the phone.

Its weird how this increase comes after the congestion charging zone in central london is extended to the west, which i don't think has helped decrease congestion around London, it just sends drivers to wait in traffic somewhere else in London, and after over million UK motorist said NO to the road pricing scheme, they should really take a hint .

The Police or should i say the Government need to think about who they're harassing i would rather have them spend money on tackling rapist, burglers and muggers or actually improve the public transport system.

The Reason for the outburst is that today i had to pay £60 and receive 3 points, because i got caught driving at 39mph in a 30mph zone, what makes this worse is the road they caught me on lead on to a road that has a 50 mph speed limit.

Resident Evil Extinction

No its not a new resident evil game, but it is the title of the new resident evil film.



This is the 3rd film based on the Resident evil games. I don't have high hopes for this film, becuase the other films weren't that good, and i can't see what Resident evil game they're basing this on?

By the way did ya notice Ashanti in the trailer, she's blantently gonna be killed off straight away. LOL.

The Oscars

You might or might not know, that the oscars were last night, hell i didn't know about until i came across this video on ifilm.



The major winners last night were:

• The Departed won best Picture
• Martin Scorsese won Best Director for The Departed
• Forest Whitaker won Best Actor for The last King of Scotland
• Hellen Mirren won Best Actress for The Queen

I think The departed won something like 4 Oscars so it ran out the big winner from the Oscars, and deservedly so because it is a great film.

The departed was based on the japanese film Infernal affairs which i think had the better ending out of the 2 films.

So the trip...

Yo, i got back Thursday night from sheffield, but i didn't write a post about it because i was so tired, so i haven't slept much during the last few days, anyways i'll tell you all about it. its a long post, so sorry in advance.

the Journey there:













We planned to leave our area by 12.30 in the afternoon but as usual some people woke up abit late so ended leaving about 3. Standard timing, LOL.

I feared that we would get stuck in traffic, and a journey that takes about 3 hours would end up being alot lot longer, but thankfully the traffic wasn't too Bad, there was only a bit of traffic on the Enfield turn off, where there was some roadworks. It took about 1 hour to hit the m1, which is the most boring motorway ever, becuase its just straight, and can put you to sleep, so after a while we decided to make a stop and get a bite to eat.

One of my mates needed to get some cash out, and got a bin confused with a cash point.








LOL. not really, he knew it was a bin (i think).





After searching for a cash point we found one, but decided to a robbery and nick some crisps.








Again i'm joking, bruv chill.




After munching we set out on the last leg of our journey and ended arriving at Sheffield at about 6.30, straight away i was challenged to a game of pro evo 6, i battered that guy 6-0, and for the next few hours i was playing pro evo 6 against everyone there. I'm telling you it was knackering.


About 10.30 i retired as the unbeaten champion of Pro evo 6, LOL, and got ready to go out. We went to a nightclub called Gatecrasher, it was good, Gatecrasher had 3 rooms a RnB and hip Hop room, a Indie Room and a techno room. Drinks there were really cheap, so everyone who drank got wrecked and i was there wid my J2o and dancing wid some ladies. we left the club at about 3, got back and played more pro evo, and went to sleep at about 6.


The next morning i woke up at about 12, i would of slept longer but i couldn't sleep. one of my mates wouldn't wake up, so we woke him up. LOL.



The next day we checked out sheffield, and i was surprised at how clean it was. You can get fined by people in blue coats if ya litter. i was well shocked.















That night we went to Spearmint Rhino's as it was my friends birthday, (any reason to go, LOL) i would show some pictures but your not allowed to take any in there. we ended spending all night there and went to sleep about 6 in the morning.

The next day nobody wanted to go out, because we were all shattered, so the whole day we just played Pro Evo 6 and Tekken 5, i owned everyone at Pro evo but Tekken 5 was another matter everyone knew how to play it well, so everone has a bit of a winning streak. My fave character on Tekken 5 are

• Hwoarang
• Xiaoya
• Lei
• Christie (cheapshots)

at about 7, we went to the local pub and saw Liverpool beat Barcelona 2-1. I went crazy when Liverpool scored, it was great.

That night we just chilled, didn't get up to much, but we did order the most unhealthy take away ever.

So the Next day we Left Sheffield at 2.30 in the afternoon and returned back to Kent at about 8. And that was that.
