I hate the police!!!

I swear the police have got nothing better to do than piss off motorist. Today Motorist have been told if they get caught talking on a mobile whilst driving they'll be charged £60, it use to be a £30 fine and also you'll get 3 points on ya licence.

The increase in the fine, is just another way for the police to steal more money from the public. OK, i agree driving whilst talking on the phone can be dangerous, if in the hands of a moron but most people i know are capable of driving properly whilst talking on the phone.

Its weird how this increase comes after the congestion charging zone in central london is extended to the west, which i don't think has helped decrease congestion around London, it just sends drivers to wait in traffic somewhere else in London, and after over million UK motorist said NO to the road pricing scheme, they should really take a hint .

The Police or should i say the Government need to think about who they're harassing i would rather have them spend money on tackling rapist, burglers and muggers or actually improve the public transport system.

The Reason for the outburst is that today i had to pay £60 and receive 3 points, because i got caught driving at 39mph in a 30mph zone, what makes this worse is the road they caught me on lead on to a road that has a 50 mph speed limit.

Resident Evil Extinction

No its not a new resident evil game, but it is the title of the new resident evil film.

This is the 3rd film based on the Resident evil games. I don't have high hopes for this film, becuase the other films weren't that good, and i can't see what Resident evil game they're basing this on?

By the way did ya notice Ashanti in the trailer, she's blantently gonna be killed off straight away. LOL.

The Oscars

You might or might not know, that the oscars were last night, hell i didn't know about until i came across this video on ifilm.

The major winners last night were:
  • The Departed won best Picture
  • Martin Scorsese won Best Director for The Departed
  • Forest Whitaker won Best Actor for The last King of Scotland
  • Hellen Mirren won Best Actress for The Queen

I think The departed won something like 4 Oscars so it ran out the big winner from the Oscars, and deservedly so because it is a great film.

The departed was based on the japanese film Infernal affairs which i think had the better ending out of the 2 films.

So the trip...

Yo, i got back Thursday night from sheffield, but i didn't write a post about it because i was so tired, so i haven't slept much during the last few days, anyways i'll tell you all about it. its a long post, so sorry in advance.

the Journey there:

We planned to leave our area by 12.30 in the afternoon but as usual some people woke up abit late so ended leaving about 3. Standard timing, LOL.

I feared that we would get stuck in traffic, and a journey that takes about 3 hours would end up being alot lot longer, but thankfully the traffic wasn't too Bad, there was only a bit of traffic on the Enfield turn off, where there was some roadworks. It took about 1 hour to hit the m1, which is the most boring motorway ever, becuase its just straight, and can put you to sleep, so after a while we decided to make a stop and get a bite to eat.

One of my mates needed to get some cash out, and got a bin confused with a cash point.

LOL. not really, he knew it was a bin (i think).

After searching for a cash point we found one, but decided to a robbery and nick some crisps.

Again i'm joking, bruv chill.

After munching we set out on the last leg of our journey and ended arriving at Sheffield at about 6.30, straight away i was challenged to a game of pro evo 6, i battered that guy 6-0, and for the next few hours i was playing pro evo 6 against everyone there. I'm telling you it was knackering.

About 10.30 i retired as the unbeaten champion of Pro evo 6, LOL, and got ready to go out. We went to a nightclub called Gatecrasher, it was good, Gatecrasher had 3 rooms a RnB and hip Hop room, a Indie Room and a techno room. Drinks there were really cheap, so everyone who drank got wrecked and i was there wid my J2o and dancing wid some ladies. we left the club at about 3, got back and played more pro evo, and went to sleep at about 6.

The next morning i woke up at about 12, i would of slept longer but i couldn't sleep. one of my mates wouldn't wake up, so we woke him up. LOL.

The next day we checked out sheffield, and i was surprised at how clean it was. You can get fined by people in blue coats if ya litter. i was well shocked.

That night we went to Spearmint Rhino's as it was my friends birthday, (any reason to go, LOL) i would show some pictures but your not allowed to take any in there. we ended spending all night there and went to sleep about 6 in the morning.

The next day nobody wanted to go out, because we were all shattered, so the whole day we just played Pro Evo 6 and Tekken 5, i owned everyone at Pro evo but Tekken 5 was another matter everyone knew how to play it well, so everone has a bit of a winning streak. My fave character on Tekken 5 are
  • Marshall Law
  • Bryan
  • Lee
  • Hwoarang
  • Xiaoya
  • Lei
  • Christie (cheapshots)

at about 7, we went to the local pub and saw Liverpool beat Barcelona 2-1. I went crazy when Liverpool scored, it was great.

That night we just chilled, didn't get up to much, but we did order the most unhealthy take away ever.

So the Next day we Left Sheffield at 2.30 in the afternoon and returned back to Kent at about 8. And that was that.

Hot Fuzz!!!

Yo people, long time no see. I'm gonna post about my strip to sheffield a little later, because i haven't got all the pictures yet and some of them look quite funny, so i'm gonna wait, until i get those pictures then i'll write a post about the trip.

So this post is about the film hot fuzz, i saw this on the 18th, the sunday before i left for sheffield, and i gotta say this film really surprised me.

Firstly this film is made by the people who made Shaun of the Dead, which was a romantic comedy with Zombies. The Film was funny and quiet gory, but i don't think it appealled to everyone because the humor isn't your obvious laugh out loud type but more the suttle british humor. overall i thought this film was good, and showed the britsh can make good films.

Hot Fuzz is similar in the humor department but they replaced the zombie element with crazy action sequences. The action sequences don't come into the film until really late, as it goes with the whole story of the film, which is quite anti-climatic at points.

The main selling point of this film is the humor, without a doubt. the film makers seem to base the action and story around the humorous set pieces, which i think is gud thing, for instance one of the main characters gets inspiration from 2 crazy dumb hollywood action films Bad boys 2 and Point break and blantently copy bits from them, another moment is when a old woman is doing a drive by whilst riding a bike, there are a lot more, trust me.

So i said i was surprised by this film because i expected the same gags from Shaun of the dead, but they came up with more funnier gags and some good action sequences, the only thing that i felt let the film down was the short comings of the story, don't get me wrong it is a clever story, but the writers seem to take the easy way out in order to finish the film, which is shame but nothing to hinder on as the film is great.

I recommend everyone to watch it.

Devil may Cry advert

This is such a gud TV spot.

The way she knocks him up with the flowers and shoots him with the champagne, Jokes.

God of War 2!!!

I've Just seen the first review of God of war 2, down at ign, heres the link:

http://uk.ps2.ign.com/articles/763/763624p1.html

The game got a massive 9.7 out of 10, which does surprise me, because the first one was so gud, i didn't think they would be able to surpass it, but it seems like they have.

What surprises me even more is how gud the graphics look in this game, i mean they look next gen, but there coming from a ps2.

I can't wait to get my hands on this game, unfortuantely i gotta wait till the end of March, damn it.

The US will be able to pick up a copy on the 13th march, while the UK have to wait till the 30th march.

A review of the Naruto Shippuuden episode

Well i've just seen the episode, and i think it was great.

The original story line has come back, so unlike the filler episodes, there will actually be some development, and this is noticeable right from the beginning, as the episode jumps into the deep end, and shows a confrontation between the three main characters Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke, but as the scene ends the opening credits run and thats the last time we see of that confrontation in this episode.

I'm guessing they're leaving this scene for a later episode, because it is such a big part of the anime, this annoyed me a little, as i wanted to know what happens, but i can see why they did it, as they want to bring back viewers who may have stopped watching naruto over the past year, and creating a bit of tension between the main characters will help to do that.

After the opening credits the episode seems to jump back a period, which sees naruto return to the village after a 2 and a half year absence, where he was training with Jiraiya, And the rest of the episode naruto just reminises about how times use to be, and visit areas which brings back nostalgic memories to them, (and they say nostalgic a lot in this episode) so there are quite a few flashbacks, and you get to see some other characters all grown up.

Another part of the story sees a couple of the Akatsuki organisation, go to the sand village, this shows more development as it has something more relevant to the main story, which i liked. We aren't intoduced to these characters yet but i'm sure they will be introduced soon, possible the next episode.

The episode ends with Sakura and Naruto begin a duel with kakashi, like before Naruto and Sakura have to try and get the bells off Kakashi (like they did oh so long ago, but without sasuke) to prove they have improve their skills over the past 2 years.

There have been other changes like the music, there is more opera style music used in this episode which makes those scenes more epic, the beginning and end credits have new music as well, which i'm sure will grow on, at the moment though i think it is OK. can't wait for the next episode.

Naruto is back!!!

Anyone who has been watching the original japanese version of naruto (not the dubbed version thats shown in the uk), has probably been waiting for the anime to come back to its main story.

As for a year and a half naruto fans have been forced to endure the terrible filler episodes. I did start watching the filler episodes but they kept on going over the same sort of story line (e.g. naruto go here, save this person blah blah end, repeat over again), so it got boring very quickly.

Now on the 15/02 Naruto came back, but now it is called "Naruto Shippuuden", i'm not sure what Shippuuden mean, but i'll find out later.

I'm gonna download the version thats subbed by duttebayo, and i'll let you know how it is.

Great top gear episode

Anyone see topgear on sunday or the repeat on wednesday ...No well here the best bit of the show.

This episode the fellas go to america and are challenged to buy an american car for under $1000, easy enough, but then they are set a series of challenges. I found this clip where they are challeged to decorate each others cars (in a way that would piss off the locals) and drive across Alabama, wot happens is classic especially when they pull into the petrol station.

the clip is like 8 minutes long but its worth it.

people outside the UK probably won't have seen the program, so sorry for thinking you may have. Basically its a car show shown in UK, and they do crazy shit like the above.

1st blog ....yay!

yo people my names Aarif.

I Just decided to start blogging, theres no gud reason behind it, i just seen a lot of gud blogs out there and thought, i might as well give it a try.
