I saw Oceans 13 on Monday, but i haven't been able to write about it, because I've been busy looking for a job and doing the odd job around the house.
Anyway the film, I've read alot reviews saying that it is better or as good as Oceans Eleven (a film that i really like), and i have to disagree i don't think it is better. It looks to me that they just tried to copy and paste oceans Eleven and try to change it a bit so that it doesn't look to blatant.
we begin the film with one of the crew being swindled out of a deal by Al pacino, like all villains he has a weakness and the oceans crew, decide to get revenge by exposing his weaknesses. The other Crew members suggest killing him but this film is all about honor, which means they can't do that.
Each of the cast are given a nice chunk of screen time to show what they can, but most of the screen time is taken up by the George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon (for some reason everytime i see matt damon, i always think of that character out of Team America).
They're smug as ever. They all have parts to play in the heist but George clooneys character is the mastermind behind it all, and he plays the character really well.I wouldn't say there is a stand out moment in the film, only that there is a scene which involves a mini revolution in mexico, which made me laugh, but the rest of the film is very slick and stylish due to the camera work and performances from the main actors.
I think this film has a bit too much style over the substance, but it is a good watch ...but not as good as Oceans Eleven.

I've never seen any of the Ocean's films, but they do look cool. The problem I have is that there'll be Oceans 14, 15, 16, 200. It won't end.
Whats with the first comment lol why delete it, what it say?
Also i loved the first the second was ok but i hear the third is better then the second but not the first, will find out next week : )
yeh i hope they don't make too many sequels ...to me this sequel seemed to much like oceans 11, they should just leave it.
and i dunno who deleted the comment, dunno what it was about.
